On the eve of Ukraine's National Flag Day, border guards of the Odesa detachment raised the blue-and-yellow flag over the Black Sea using a drone.

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine released the video.

The flag, measuring 12 by 6 metres, unfurled over the waters of the Black Sea.

It is the largest Ukrainian flag ever raised by a drone over the Odesa region.

“Happy National Flag Day, Ukrainians! May it fly over every city and village of our strong, free and independent Ukraine. Happy holiday! With faith in Victory!” the border guards said in their greeting to fellow citizens.
