Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence and the Center for Countering Disinformation Publish Data on Six Russian Propagandists
Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate and the Center for Countering Disinformation expose six Russian public figures involved in Russia’s information war.
This was reported by Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence.
Among them:
Sergei Tovkach — a Russian developer of unmanned systems and author of the Telegram channel «BPLA Developer» (razrabotchik BPLA). He spreads anti-Ukrainian rhetoric, publishes materials from combat zones, organizes fundraising for participants in the so-called «SVO,» and shares technical information and advice on the use of drones by Russian forces against Ukraine;
Alexei Chadayev — a Russian publicist and political strategist, advisor to Russia’s Minister of Transport, and General Director of the ANO «NPC «Ushkuynik.» He is one of the organizers of the technological support for Russian aggression against Ukraine in the field of unmanned aerial systems;
Roman Golovanov — a domestic policy correspondent for the publishing house Komsomolskaya Pravda and a host on the TV channels Spas and Solovyov Live. He spreads destructive narratives and religious disinformation, including fake claims about alleged «persecution of the Orthodox Church and Christianity» in Ukraine.
The «Kremlin’s Mouthpieces» section of the War&Sanctions portal already contains information on nearly two hundred representatives of Russia’s propaganda machine. They justify Russian aggression and war crimes, manipulate socially significant information, spread disinformation about events at the front, and influence public opinion in various regions of the world.
Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence and the Center for Countering Disinformation are calling on partner states to impose personal sanctions on representatives of Russia’s propaganda apparatus, restrict their entry, freeze their financial assets, and end media and commercial cooperation with them.
