12 Incidents in a Month: Russia Increasingly Threatens Security of European Countries
Between July 15 and August 15, 2026, at least 12 drone and missile incidents were recorded in Europe.
This was reported by Ukraine’s Center for Countering Disinformation.
Over the same period, four incidents linked to the defense industry and logistics of European countries were also recorded.
As of now, these incidents have not been officially classified as Russian sabotage, though law enforcement and intelligence agencies are considering Russia’s involvement. The Center previously recorded 36 airspace violations across nine European countries between September 2024 and September 2025, with another 18 incidents between September 1 and 29, 2025.
The Center emphasizes that these cases collectively point to the spread of security threats beyond Ukraine’s borders.
The aggressor state shows no readiness to end the war, instead continuing its escalation and intensifying hybrid pressure on Europe.
