Ukraine Is Coordinating the Preparation of New Sanctions Packages Against Russia with Its Partners
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Ukraine is working not only on long-range strikes, but also on strengthening other lines of pressure, including sanctions.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this on social media.
At coordination talks involving Ukraine’s intelligence agencies, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the special services, participants determined which partners are expected to take new sanctions decisions, and when.
The President noted that some components critically important to Russia’s military industry are still being supplied to the country, including from certain G7 states.
He stressed that partners must understand the impact of every sanctions decision on Russia’s ability to continue the war and to strike Ukraine.
“All our partners must know what depends on them and how every sanctions step affects how soon peace comes and how many lives are saved,” Zelenskyy said.
