The Kamensky Combine, located near the town of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky in Russia's Rostov region, has been struck with Neptune missiles.

The Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.

On the night of 16 August, the Ukrainian Navy struck the plant with Neptune missiles, acting together with other units of Ukraine’s Defence Forces.

Satellite reconnaissance data confirmed hits on the plant’s production workshops. The Kamensky Combine supplies the occupying army with solid rocket fuel, including for the Uragan, Smerch and Tornado-S multiple launch rocket systems and a number of other missile and aviation systems.

Striking this industrial facility disrupts the production chain for solid rocket fuel for the Russian army, which will significantly affect the loading of rocket motors for Russian air defence systems and multiple launch rocket systems.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the previous day that the strike had confirmed the destruction of two workshops and damage to four more used to produce explosives and gunpowder.

According to OSINT analysts, Ukrainian units penetrated several layers of enemy air defence — from Pantsirs to the S-300 — and scored at least five hits on various workshops at the plant. Several air defence systems were also struck.
