Reaching as Far as Siberia: Dovbush T40 Drone with a Range of Over 2,000 km Codified
Ukraine's Ministry of Defence has codified the domestically produced Dovbush drone, which has a range of more than 2,000 km.
This was reported on the Ministry of Defence website.
The UAV can stay airborne for more than 24 hours, which the Ministry notes is enough to operate against distant targets in the Urals and western Siberia.
During testing, the Dovbush T40 demonstrated a number of advantages over comparable systems:
- an ultra-low radar signature, allowing the drone to evade enemy radars more effectively;
- high engine performance thanks to an electronic fuel injection system;
- considerable resilience to electronic warfare.
Various equipment configurations enable the model to perform a range of tasks:
- conducting deep reconnaissance;
- correcting artillery fire;
- delivering precision strikes by dropping munitions or in a kamikaze role.
