Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces have struck 240 power nodes in the temporarily occupied south since the start of the Crimean Switch Off operation.

Major Robert “Madyar” Brovdi, commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, announced this on his social media accounts on Friday, 14 August.

According to him, over the past day alone Ukrainian drones struck 29 energy facilities in order to leave the occupiers in Crimea without electricity and water supply.

“Cutting power to the enemy’s fixed radars and other air defence elements disrupts their air defence system and opens the way for the Freedom-Loving Ukrainian Bird,” Madyar wrote on his Telegram channel.
