Zelenskyy said preliminary data indicate the enemy struck Radushne with a ballistic missile made in the DPRK — the first such case in a considerable while.

The President of Ukraine announced this on social media.

According to the head of state, final conclusions will be drawn once all the necessary examinations have been carried out, but the available data indicate that it was indeed a North Korean ballistic missile.

The President stressed that cooperation between Russia and the DPRK involves not only missile supplies, but also the deployment of a North Korean military contingent.

“An alliance between the Moscow scum and the insane regime in North Korea — for the sake of missiles, for the sake of a North Korean contingent here in Europe, on our borders, and for the sake of killing our Ukrainian children,” Zelenskyy said.

He also noted that the international community had condemned the latest Russian strike on Ukraine and the incident involving a Russian missile that came down on Polish territory near Lublin.

At the same time, the President said, the key issue remains not only statements of support, but stepped-up military assistance to Ukraine.

“The most important thing, after all, is not simply sympathy and not simply condemnation, but missiles for air defence and precisely the kind of pressure on Russia that can stop this senseless Russian war, all their strikes and their terror,” he stressed.

The President emphasised that Ukraine needs, above all, missiles for Patriot air defence systems, as well as munitions for NASAMS, IRIS-T, HAWK and other air defence systems.

He expressed hope that international partners — primarily the United States and European countries — would take into account that the timely delivery of such assets has a direct bearing on saving Ukrainian lives.

Zelenskyy also reported on a meeting with Prime Minister Serhii Koretskyi and Minister of Infrastructure Mykola Kalashnyk, at which they discussed preparations for a session of the National Security and Defence Council on the implementation of regional resilience plans.

According to the President, the relevant measures are still being carried out inadequately in many regions, so every region must make up for the delays.

Participants in the meeting paid particular attention to the consequences of Russian strikes on railway infrastructure, to logistics issues, and to the security situation in Odesa, which comes under Russian attack on a regular basis. Zelenskyy noted that decisions are being prepared to strengthen the state’s logistical capabilities, but that they are not being disclosed for now.

The President also instructed officials to expand protective works in frontline and border communities, in particular on roads and critical infrastructure facilities.

“We need results,” the head of state concluded, thanking everyone who defends Ukraine and works to strengthen its defence capabilities.
