President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with executives from U.S. defense company Lockheed Martin during his visit to Washington.

Lockheed Martin is one of the United States’ leading defense manufacturers and has been a long-standing partner of Ukraine.

President Zelenskyy thanked the company for its continued support and assistance. The meeting focused on expanding cooperation, including opportunities for joint defense production and technology sharing. He noted that Ukraine also has valuable expertise to offer those helping defend Ukrainian lives.

The discussions also covered cooperation on Patriot air defense systems and other defense capabilities. According to the President, both teams are already working on practical solutions to launch joint production as quickly as possible and strengthen Ukraine’s ability to protect its people.

Lockheed Martin manufactures ATACMS missiles, HIMARS rocket systems, F-16 fighter aircraft, and interceptor missiles for the Patriot air defense system.
