Ukraine and the Netherlands sign a Drone Deal
Ukraine and the Netherlands have signed a comprehensive Drone Deal agreement on cooperation in the field of unmanned technologies.
This was announced by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
According to him, the agreement opens new opportunities for the joint production of drones, the development of defense technologies, the systematic exchange of expertise, and cooperation in the export of weapons.
“There will be even more opportunities for joint production and technological development, and most importantly, for a systematic exchange of expertise and the export of weapons”, — Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
During the meeting with the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, the parties also discussed further strengthening Ukraine’s protection against Russian aerial attacks.
Particular attention was paid to the development of a European missile defense system. The President stressed that Europe needs to develop its own anti-ballistic capabilities to protect itself against modern threats.
“Europe undoubtedly needs its own anti-ballistic capabilities so that the European way of life is fully protected”, — Zelenskyy said.
The parties also reviewed the joint security projects that have already been implemented and discussed further steps with partners.
The President thanked the Netherlands for its consistent support for Ukraine, emphasizing that the assistance provided has already saved thousands of Ukrainian lives during Russian missile and drone attacks.
