SSU’s “Alpha” unit strikes the enemy rear: Dzhankoi Air Base and logistics hubs hit
Last week, “Alpha” special operations units operating in the medium-range strike zone carried out a comprehensive operation against priority targets in the TOT.
This was reported by the Security Service of Ukraine.
The strikes were conducted in fulfillment of tasks assigned by the President of Ukraine as part of a systematic effort to reduce Russia’s military potential.
Alpha special operators carried out drone strikes against military infrastructure in temporarily occupied Crimea, including:
- the Dzhankoi military air base, where relay stations used by Russian Orion strike-reconnaissance UAVs, as well as weapons and military equipment depots, were hit;
- the infrastructure of the Port Krym facility in Kerch;
- ammunition and fuel storage facilities in the settlements of Novohryhorivka and Chervone.
The SSU also destroyed a logistics hub containing unmanned aerial vehicles, ground robotic systems, and ammunition near Pokrovsk in Donetsk Oblast. The facility provided logistical support to Russian forces operating in this sector.
In addition, permanent deployment sites of Russian unmanned systems operators in Komysh-Zoria and Kamianka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast were successfully struck. Enemy military depots in Hranitne and Styl in Donetsk Oblast were also destroyed.
These special operations significantly disrupted the logistics of Russian forces, complicating the supply of ammunition and fuel to frontline positions. The strikes also eliminated drone operators and command personnel of the enemy’s unmanned systems and ground robotic units.
