“The enemy is increasingly using a tactic of information occupation”: Russians are reporting desired advances as actual gains
The occupiers report the capture of settlements where they are not even present, but they can still submit reports to their command.
This was stated by the spokesperson of the 66th Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Mstyslav the Brave, Vasyl Denysiuk, during a live stream on Army TV.
“Enemy commanders on the ground report to their higher command about the capture of certain settlements. After some time — weeks, sometimes even months — the Russian command realizes that in fact there was no such capture at all.
And then the Russian command starts pushing its units and assault troops to actually seize what, according to their reports, has already been captured long ago. This is exactly what is happening in our sector right now”, — Vasyl Denysiuk noted.
