Finland allocates another €40 Million for U.S. weapons for Ukraine through PURL
Finland is allocating an additional €40 million to the PURL initiative, through which NATO member states procure U.S.-made weapons for Ukraine.
This was announced by Ukraine’s Prime Minister, Yuliia Svyrydenko.
She thanked the Government of Finland and Prime Minister Petteri Orpo personally for this decision. According to Yuliia Svyrydenko, these funds will strengthen Ukraine’s air defense capabilities.
Accordingly, the assistance will help better protect civilians from Russian attacks, including ballistic missile strikes.
The Prime Minister emphasized that Finland has stood with Ukraine since the very first day of Russia’s full-scale invasion.
“Thank you for your consistency and true partnership”, — Yuliia Svyrydenko stated.
