Mykhailo Fedorov discussed support for Ukraine and the development of joint technological projects with the defense ministers of the United Kingdom and Norway.
This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Ukraine’s Minister of Defense held talks with UK Minister of State for Defence Dan Jarvis regarding the expansion of drone deliveries for Ukrainian defenders. The parties considered financing options for these deliveries through the use of proceeds generated from frozen Russian assets.
In addition, Mykhailo Fedorov and Norway’s Minister of Defence Tore O. Sandvik discussed industrial cooperation within the framework of a potential Drone Deal.
Norway plans to supply extended-range ammunition. It will also contribute to financing the maintenance of F-16 fighter jets.
The parties also discussed allocating funds for the procurement of priority drone types for the Ukrainian military, participation in the European anti-ballistic project, and contributions to the JUMPSTART initiative aimed at providing Ukraine with missiles for air defense systems.
The new agreement represents another step in the development of the anti-ballistic missile program launched on the instructions of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy. It envisages cooperation between Ukrainian and German companies in the development and production of modern interceptor missiles.
