A soldier of the 43rd Mechanized Brigade with the callsign “Engineer” is one of the most effective interceptor drone pilots.
His story was published on March 22 on the brigade’s channel.
Before the war, he worked as a miner and had no military experience.
When he received his first draft notice, he immediately joined the brigade’s air defense unit heading to positions in the Kharkiv region.
“I started working with ZU-23 anti-aircraft guns, but when they began recruiting for interceptor drone training, I switched there. It became clear that enemy drones were already flying too high and too fast for the ‘Zushkas’”, — “Engineer” said.
He has been in service for three years, and this path has made him one of the most effective interceptor pilots.
His targets are enemy reconnaissance and strike drones, which he destroys with cold precision.
