Over four years of work, the Coordination Headquarters has managed to return 8,050 Ukrainians home from Russian captivity.

This was reported by the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War on March 11.

Over the four years, more than 70 prisoner exchanges have also been conducted.

“Today is not the time for loud words or celebrations. It is simply another day when we record what has been done and continue working. Our principle remains unchanged: ‘Together for the sake of return’.

We understand the pain and exhaustion of those who are still waiting. We know about every man and woman who remains in captivity. There is still a great deal of difficult, often invisible work ahead, and we will not stop until it is completed”, — the Coordination Headquarters wrote.
