The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine recalled which facilities were hit and their significance.

Atlant Aero

On the night of January 13, Ukrainian Defense Forces units struck the Atlant Aero enterprise in Taganrog, Rostov region, with Ukrainian-made missiles. Explosions and a fire were recorded near production buildings.

The company carries out a full cycle of design, manufacturing, and testing of Molniya strike-reconnaissance UAVs, as well as components for Orion UAVs.

Kapustin Yar

On February 5, a strike was carried out on the Kapustin Yar State Central Interservice Missile Test Range of the Russian Ministry of Defense in Astrakhan region.

Damage to a technical facility servicing medium-range ballistic missiles, an assembly building, and a logistics warehouse was confirmed.

The site is one of Russia’s key missile test ranges and the main center for testing new weapons, including Oreshnik missiles.

6,000 FPV drones

On February 9, a UAV warehouse in Rostov-on-Don was hit. Three containers with FPV drones and components were destroyed.

About 6,000 FPV drones were destroyed, and several additional containers were damaged.

GRAU Arsenal

On the night of February 12, an arsenal of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate (GRAU) near Kotluban, Volgograd region, was struck.

The site stores missiles, ammunition, and explosives and is one of the largest ammunition storage facilities of the Russian army.

The strike was carried out with Ukrainian long-range weapons FP-5 “Flamingo.” Powerful explosions followed by secondary detonations were recorded.

Michurinsk Progress Plant

The Michurinsk Progress Plant in Tambov region, which produces high-tech equipment for aviation and missile systems, was also struck. A fire broke out on the territory.

Votkinsk Plant

On the night of February 21, Ukrainian missile forces and artillery struck the Votkinsk Plant in Udmurtia with FP-5 “Flamingo” cruise missiles, destroying production workshop No. 22.

The plant produces RS-24 Yars intercontinental ballistic missiles, Bulava submarine-launched ballistic missiles, and missiles for the Iskander-M and Kinzhal systems.

Strikes on such facilities are needed to slow the Russian war machine by reducing the enemy’s ability to produce and store weapons and weakening its capacity to launch missile and drone strikes on Ukrainian cities.
