In just recent days, the anti-aircraft missile units of the brigade shot down eight Russian UAVs in the skies over the Kharkiv region.
A video of the combat work was published on the page of the 5th Slobozhanskyi Brigade “Skif” of the National Guard of Ukraine.
The guardsmen are reliably holding the air defense line over the Kharkiv region, shooting down eight Russian Shahed-type UAVs that were aimed at residential neighborhoods and enterprises of the Hero City Kharkiv.
“We work 24 hours every day. Especially when residents of Kharkiv try to rest at night. Our mission is to make that possible — to save the lives of children, women, and the elderly, at whom the enemy directs deadly threats.
And every downed enemy drone for each of us is not only a combat target, but also the realization that we are capable of ensuring safety for the people of Kharkiv”, — emphasized a serviceman of one of the mobile fire teams, call sign “Malyi”.
