We have intelligence on possible Russian strikes — President
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky discussed the situation in Ukraine and contacts with other leaders with Federal Chancellor of Germany Friedrich Merz.
The President reported this on March 2.
“I spoke about the situation on the front and our needs in air-defense missiles. We have intelligence information about possible Russian strikes, and that is why it is crucial to do everything possible for protection now”, — Zelensky wrote.
They also discussed the negotiation track for achieving peace and how it may progress in connection with events in the Middle East.
“Friedrich informed me about his visit to China and the meetings held there. China has many tools that can significantly influence Russia and its desire to end the war. We also synchronized positions ahead of the Chancellor’s meeting with President Trump in Washington.
I am grateful to Friedrich, his team, and Germany for their continued support in protecting lives”, — the President noted.
