Junior Sergeant Oleksandr, call sign “Molfar”, is 27 years old. A volunteer, artilleryman, assault soldier, and now a UAV operator with the 105th Separate Briga
His story was published on the page of the Territorial Defense Forces.
He served on the Sumy and Donetsk axes, including near Bakhmut, suffered injuries, and received the “Iron Cross” award.
His combat path began on March 25, 2022.
He says that after the full-scale invasion he went to the military enlistment office voluntarily.
He began service in the 107th rocket artillery brigade, later served in an assault unit, and in May last year joined the 105th Territorial Defense Brigade, where he became a UAV pilot.
His main tasks — reconnaissance, enemy detection, fire adjustment.
“Most targets are Russian military, as well as their logistics, transport, and weapons”, — Molfar says.
His call sign was given in the artillery unit due to his exceptional intuition:
— We had a mobile crew. The guys wanted to rest, and I kept saying: don’t lie down, there will be an alarm soon; we’ll go out to shoot down Shaheds. And every time it happened. So they called me ‘Molfar’”.
He received the “Iron Cross” for an episode near Klishchiivka, where under intense fire he took command and led a group of newcomers out of danger.
In October, Oleksandr was wounded during a mission. Their group came under mortar fire.
He recalls losing a comrade and escaping under constant enemy drone drops.
But after treatment and rehabilitation, he returned to his unit and now serves again in a UAV team.
“When I joined the army, I understood that real friends are brothers-in-arms. I am ready to fight and even die for them”, — he says.
His family — wife, mother, brother, and sister — are his support.
After the war, Oleksandr plans to continue serving the state by working in the police.
For now, he brings victory closer every day in the ranks of the 105th Territorial Defense Brigade.
