By destroying the enemy’s air-defense systems, small UAV aviation clears the sky for larger aircraft.
A representative of the center emphasized this in a comment to ArmyInform:
“Our unit skillfully operates a bomber-type drone and often performs missions against enemy air-defense systems.
This is how small UAV aviation opens the sky for larger aviation so it can operate more confidently and do good things”.
Earlier, ArmyInform published a video showing the destruction of a Russian S-300 by bombs dropped from a fixed-wing UAV of another unit. The video also shows the destruction of an Osa system, the “Black Eye” electronic warfare system, and other enemy equipment.
“For example, the Osa system in that video was covering the area of the Avdiivka Coke Plant”, — the representative said.
