Enemy attacked Ukraine overnight with ballistic missile and 126 strike UAVs
During the night of February 23 (from 18:00 on February 22), the enemy attacked with one Iskander-M ballistic missile from Rostov region, Russia, and 126 strike
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.
The enemy attacked with Shahed-type drones, “Gerbera”, “Italmas”, and UAVs of other types from the directions of Bryansk, Kursk, Oryol, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), and Chauda, Hvardiiske (temporarily occupied Crimea). About 80 of them were Shaheds.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, EW units, UAV units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary information as of 08:00, air defense shot down/suppressed 105 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, “Gerbera,” “Italmas,” and other types in the north, south, and east of the country.
There were recorded impacts of a ballistic missile and 20 strike UAVs at 11 locations, as well as falling debris at one location.
