President Holds Coordination Meeting After Massive Night Attack by the Enemy
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, held a coordination meeting regarding the situation in the regions after another massive strike by Russia.
The Head of State reported this on social media.
As ArmyInform previously reported, nearly 50 missiles were launched across Ukraine overnight — including 22 ballistic missiles — as well as 297 drones of various types.
Massive Strike and Air Defense Response
The Head of State reported that air defense forces managed to destroy a significant portion of the aerial targets. Zelenskyy thanked international partners for their consistent support of Ukraine and for supplying air-defense missiles.
“Protection is needed every day”, — the President emphasized.
New Enemy Targets: Logistics and Water Supply
According to the President, this time Russian strikes targeted not only energy facilities, but also logistics infrastructure, including railway facilities and urban water supply systems.
During the meeting with regional representatives, they discussed in detail the need to scale up protection against air attacks and to respond quickly to changes in the enemy’s tactics.
In the Boryspil district of Kyiv region, a church was damaged as a result of a Russian strike. Several regions also recorded destruction of residential buildings. Assistance is being provided to those affected.
Separately, the President instructed the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine to deploy additional forces to strengthen air defense over the Sumy region.
The day before, in the Shostka district, a Russian drone deliberately struck an ambulance. Three people were killed in the attack.
“Russians must feel the consequences for every such strike”, — Zelenskyy stressed, adding that border and frontline regions must see significantly reinforced protection against drones.
