The commander of a self-propelled artillery battalion of the 55th Artillery Brigade “Zaporizka Sich”, callsign “Vulkan”, said that enemy artillery is firing fro
He spoke about this on the “5th Channel” broadcast.
“Thanks to the activity of our FPV drones and the enormous work of our artillerymen, we pushed enemy artillery as far from the front as possible. Now they are trying to fire from the maximum distance their weapons allow”, — Vulkan said.
According to him, the enemy’s artillery park mainly consists of towed D-30 and 2A65 guns. Self-propelled howitzers like the 2S19 are used very rarely.
“As for new systems — if they have them, they hide them so well that they are very hard to find”, — he said.
He added that the enemy is also actively using Grad multiple rocket launchers.
