In the Kostiantynivka sector, the enemy’s actions and tactics have not changed over the last six months. Assaults and mechanized pushes continue.
This was reported on Armia TV by Viacheslav Hudz, commander of the 3rd Mechanized Battalion of the 44th Separate Mechanized Brigade.
According to him, the Russians have not abandoned mechanized pushes — on the contrary, they have only increased. However, due to weather conditions, the enemy currently cannot use vehicles, as they get stuck in the mud.
Instead, the enemy actively uses the tactic of infiltrating infantry between Ukrainian positions in small groups of two or three. However, Russia’s assault coordination has been affected by Starlink blocking.
“It became very noticeable. They started using their own alternative Internet means — installing Wi-Fi bridges and directional satellite dishes. It’s easier for us to detect them because they put them in trees, unlike Starlink, which is camouflaged at ground level. We detect and destroy them, disrupting their coordination during assaults or movement”, — the battalion commander said.
