“We are fighting a Soviet-era Frankenstein monster” — assaults continue in the Lyman direction
Enemy attacks continue in the Lyman direction. Small infantry groups, glide bombs, and FPV drones are being recorded.
This was reported on Army TV by Maksym Bilousov, head of communications of the 60th Separate Mechanized Brigade.
He said that it cannot be called a calm situation at the front. The Russian “strike fist” continues assaults. Their tactics remain the same — infiltration in small groups. Newly, they have increased glide bomb strikes and are using large numbers of drones, including “motherships” based on the “Molniya” platform.
“Sometimes we observe FPV drones detaching from a mothership based on the Molniya. The enemy is working to put this into mass use. It allows them to strike more accurately and penetrate deeper into our rear”, — Bilousov said.
Regarding Starlink interference, he stated that losing Starlink coordination was a noticeable blow to the Russians, but it will not collapse their defense — they will eventually find a solution.
“We are fighting an army that is often a Soviet-era Frankenstein monster. Despite its clumsiness, its developments are progressing. One must not underestimate the Russians. They lost Starlink, but that doesn’t mean we will be in Lysychansk or Sievierodonetsk in a few days. It simply means a brief pause in assaults is possible”, — he said.
