Trilateral negotiations between Ukraine, the U.S., and Russia have begun in Switzerland

Another round of negotiations in the trilateral format — Ukraine, the U.S., Russia — has started in Geneva.

This was reported by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov.

“We thank the American side for its involvement and consistent work in the negotiation process. We are grateful to Switzerland for organizing and providing the conditions for the meetings”, — the statement reads.

The Ukrainian delegation has a framework for work and a clear mandate approved by the President of Ukraine. The agenda includes security and humanitarian issues.

“We are working constructively, focused, and without excessive expectations. Our task is to advance as much as possible the decisions that can bring us closer to lasting peace”, — Rustem Umerov added.
