First day of trilateral negotiations in Geneva concludes: details
The first day of trilateral negotiations between Ukraine, the United States, and Russia concluded in Geneva on the evening of February 17.
This was reported by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Rustem Umerov, who heads the Ukrainian delegation.
After the joint session, the delegation members continued their work in topic-specific groups. Discussions focused on practical issues and the mechanics of possible decisions.
“Today, both the political and military blocks have completed their work. We thank our American partners for constructive cooperation and readiness to work at an operational pace”, — Rustem Umerov reported.
He added that the results of the first day of negotiations in Geneva would be reported to the President of Ukraine today. Tomorrow morning, political and military groups will resume their work.
