During the night of 16 February, the enemy attacked with six missiles and 62 strike UAVs and other types of drones, about 40 of which were Shaheds.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In particular, the enemy attacked with four Zircon anti-ship missiles, an Iskander-M ballistic missile, and an Kh-31P guided air missile.
Aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare and drone units, and mobile fire groups of the Defence Forces of Ukraine repelled the air attack.
As of 9:00, air defense shot down and suppressed two Zircon anti-ship missiles and 52 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Geran (Gerbera), Italmass, and other types.
“There were recorded impacts of one missile and nine strike UAVs at eight locations, as well as the fall of debris from downed drones at two locations. Information about three enemy missiles is being clarified”, — the report states.
