The Defense Procurement Agency DOT of the Ministry of Defence has added the ability for the military to order ground robotic systems in the DOT-Chain Defence we
This was reported on February 12 by the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.
From now on, units can independently choose and order ground robotic complexes (GRCs) for performing combat and logistical tasks without involving personnel in the strike zone.
Currently, the platform offers 7 models of ground robotic systems from 6 Ukrainian manufacturers. Overall, the DOT-Chain Defence marketplace includes more than 470 types of equipment and weapons from 135 manufacturers — among them FPV drones, fiber-optic drones, strike and aircraft-type UAVs, interceptor drones, and electronic warfare systems.
Since the beginning of 2026, the military have already received nearly 9 billion UAH for orders through DOT-Chain Defence.
This approach allows better planning of combat missions, understanding available resources, and rapidly obtaining necessary tools.
“The nature of the war is changing. The need for tools that allow tasks to be carried out without involving personnel in the strike zone is growing. Ground robotic complexes are used for evacuation, logistics, ammunition delivery, and mission execution. From now on, GRCs are available in the DOT-Chain Defence weapons marketplace.
In the system, the military can independently order the necessary tools within the budget, and the Agency ensures documentation, payment, and contract execution control”, — said Arsen Zhumadilov, Director of the Defense Procurement Agency DOT.
Previously, ground robotic systems were supplied through DOT-Chain Defence exclusively within the Army of Drones Bonus program.
Now the GRCs have become a full part of the marketplace and are available for order to all units in standard mode.
