In the Hulyaipole and Oleksandrivka directions, up to 20 reconnaissance-and-search operations are conducted daily to eliminate enemy sabotage and reconnaissance

Colonel Vladyslav Voloshyn, spokesperson for the Defense Forces of the South, told ArmyInform this in an exclusive comment.

According to him, in the south the enemy often uses infiltration tactics, and its sabotage groups and assault groups try to penetrate as deeply as possible into Ukrainian defenses.

“In particular, such groups entered Ternuvate, Prydorozhnye, Kosivtseve, and a number of other settlements. Taking advantage of weather conditions, they secretly entered these settlements and carried out photo and video recording, after which they presented a distorted picture of the course of hostilities”.

Therefore, every day in the south — in the Hulyaipole and Oleksandrivka directions — up to two dozen reconnaissance-and-search and search-and-strike missions are conducted to detect and eliminate such groups.

“When we detect these groups that have infiltrated, we clear the settlements of them. I emphasize that these settlements were and remain under our control; the Russians did not control them. We are simply searching for these infiltrated ‘flag-stickers’ and destroying them”, — Voloshyn said.
