This was reported on Army TV by the commander of the 1st Separate Assault Regiment named after Dmytro Kotsiubailo, callsign “Perun”.
According to him, the enemy’s widely advertised claim of capturing the settlement of Ternuvate is a significant exaggeration. About 20 Russians indeed infiltrated there — but only briefly. Some of the infiltrators were taken prisoner, others were eliminated.
“This is the enemy’s new method — to throw their personnel as deep as possible and simply plant tricolors. We call them ‘Aquafresh.’ At the moment, all enemy activity is focused on holding their positions; there is no further advance. Moreover, the Armed Forces have certain successes, which I unfortunately cannot voice now because the operation is still ongoing”, — the commander said.
