“Tomorrow the Allies Will Come, They’re Not Encircled” — Russian Command Fed Fairy Tales to Encircled Infantry
In the Pokrovsk direction, the situation is consistently tense. The enemy advances in small infantry groups, taking advantage of difficult weather conditions.
This was reported on Army TV by an officer of the 12th NGU “Azov” Brigade with the callsign “Ross”.
According to him, such Russian groups had been eliminated in the village of Zolotyi Kolodiaz. The settlement was cleared over several days; several prisoners were taken. On one of the last days, when only one street remained, Azov units encountered an enemy platoon.
“During the operation, along with one prisoner, an officer of the Russian Federation was also captured, as well as his personnel — 17 servicemen. The prisoners said their command had been feeding them promises — ‘tomorrow the allies will come, everything will be fine, you’re not encircled’. Although according to the prisoners, they understood perfectly well that they were encircled. They’d been sitting there for a very long time. Completely demotivated”, — the officer said.
