“They Couldn’t Make TV Propaganda Footage” — “Social Bottom” Sent into Attacks Near Kupiansk
In the Kupiansk direction, units of the 43rd Brigade eliminated more than thirty enemies, wounded 18, and captured 22. There are no large “global” assaults.
This was reported on Army TV by Artur Martirosyan, an officer of the 43rd Separate Mechanized Brigade.
According to him, small groups “crawl” toward the brigade’s positions trying to infiltrate. Assault groups now usually consist of “one, two, three people, no more.” Russians rarely use equipment — even quad bikes have become rare.
“Mostly these are infantry groups trying to hide in natural holes or depressions. Several times the enemy tried to infiltrate groups into Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi to stage a ‘flag-raising’, but these groups were destroyed. They couldn’t create the footage for their television”, — he said.
Martirosyan noted that the Kupiansk direction has simply disappeared from the enemy’s information space in recent days. Russians say nothing about Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi or Kupiansk, where about 50 of their fighters remain encircled. Attacks on the 43rd Brigade’s positions continue almost out of inertia.
“There is absolutely no motivation. Total despair. For these infiltration groups they send — not to use literary language — the dregs. Mostly homeless people, convicts, people from the social bottom. When you speak with the few who are captured, they say one thing — we understand we will die, but our relatives will get money. There is zero other motivation”, — Martirosyan said.
