“They Started Howling There” — Russian Assaults Temporarily Stopped in the Pokrovske Direction
In the Pokrovske direction, the enemy continues attempts to break through, using small infantry groups. They rarely employ motorcycles or quad bikes.
Taras Myshak, senior officer of communications of the 59th Separate Assault Brigade, reported this on the air of “Espreso”.
According to him, the enemy actively uses drones against Ukrainian rear areas and logistics routes. However, recently fewer of their UAVs have been reaching their targets.
“Since Starlink restrictions began—when Starlink was turned off for the Russians—we’ve been seeing fewer of their drones in our rear. Earlier, they used ‘Molniya’ drones with Starlink, which flew up to 50 kilometers, almost reaching Pavlohrad. The ‘Molniya-mother’ would release several FPV drones”, — Myshak noted.
This tactic, he said, caused “a lot of trouble” in the rear. But now such strikes are no longer observed.
“Of course, we read their Telegram channels and public pages. They’re howling there that all communications are down. Their unit control practically stopped, and assaults halted for a certain period. But unfortunately, the enemy is crafty, and I think they will look for alternatives. I hope they fail”, — Myshak said.
