In Pokrovsk, Ukrainian troops destroyed a self-propelled artillery system of Russian airborne forces, the 2S9 “Nona-S”, which the enemy had placed in a non-residential building in a private sector in the western part of the city.
A video of the combat work appeared on the channel of the 7th Air Assault Corps.
According to available information, the enemy planned to use the artillery system to further support assault actions in the direction of Hryshyne with forces of the 76th Air Assault Division of the Russian Federation.
“After detecting the enemy ‘self-propelled gun’, the unmanned systems units of the Defense Forces used FPV drones against the ‘Nona-S’. They delicately penetrated the non-residential building and with several strikes destroyed the equipment, choosing the most vulnerable spot”, — the 7th Corps of the Air Assault Forces reported.
