In the Kupiansk direction, in the area of responsibility of the Pathfinder unmanned systems battalion, the enemy attempts almost daily to advance with small infantry groups from different sides.
Company commander of unmanned aviation complexes of the Pathfinder unmanned systems battalion of the 115th Separate Mechanized Brigade, callsign “Yalta”, said this during the “United News” telethon.
“Our task is to spot them in advance and not allow them to reach the positions of our infantry. We try to do this as quickly and efficiently as possible. For that, we use all our strike assets, fire means, and reconnaissance tools”, — Yalta said.
He noted that the enemy systematically replenishes its troops.
“Well, regarding the fact that they constantly try to come in, constantly, so to speak, run out, they replenish their forces. Almost every 2–3 weeks a new unit arrives, which also gets depleted, and then another new unit replaces it, and so on in turn. They have reserves, they can afford it”, — the soldier said.
He remarked that the enemy rarely uses armored vehicles.
“The enemy has already learned; he knows that the life of armored vehicles in our direction is very short and tries not to bring them within the destruction range. Lately there have been almost none, but we are ready for this, we are ready to meet them”, — the defender assured.
The enemy is attempting to develop the production of naval drones and copy successful Ukrainian practices — both technical solutions and tactics.
