The Command of the Medical Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has launched a large-scale reintegration process for servicemen returned from Russian captivity. From now on, they will not only receive assistance but will also become part of the Medical Forces team.
This was stated in a publication on the Medical Forces Command’s page.
Recently, a landmark event took place: representatives of the Medical Forces met the liberated defenders and accompanied them to a specialized reintegration center. This is where their comprehensive recovery begins.
For the first time, the Medical Forces Command takes full responsibility for accompanying each liberated soldier through all stages. This initiative provides not only one-time assistance but systematic support:
More than an order: becoming part of the team
The unique aspect of this phase is that the servicemen will assume positions and become permanent members of the Medical Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“For us, this is not just a new stage in the reintegration system, but a great responsibility and honor — to stand by them at the moment of return, to support and help them regain solid ground under their feet”, — the Command stated.
This approach allows soldiers to go through physical, mental, and social recovery without haste, feeling respect and care among comrades who understand the value of dignity and life.
