Two drops and a fully loaded Grad — Lasar’s Group pilots created a powerful fireworks display
On the Zaporizhzhia axis, crews of Lasar’s Group of the National Guard hunted down a BM-21 Grad MLRS.
The video was published by the unit.
The equipment was detected in the responsibility zone of the 17th Army Corps during a sortie toward another target.
Strike bomber crews were engaged to destroy the MLRS.
The pilot hit the Grad as it moved along a forest line. A second drop struck the ammunition load, causing a spectacular detonation.
The explosion was captured by another Lasar’s Group drone flying nearby.
BM-21 Grad is a multiple launch rocket system used for fire support and targeting enemy manpower.
According to Lasar’s Group, the approximate cost of one system is $500,000.
