Russia has launched over 2,000 attack drones, 1,200 guided aerial bombs, and 116 missiles of various types at Ukrainian cities and villages over the past week alone.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported this.
“Almost every day they strike the energy sector, logistics infrastructure, residential buildings. And this happens even while diplomatic efforts for peace continue. The world cannot ignore Russian attacks. When there is no response, the strikes increase — and they grow more brutal each time”, — he said.
The President emphasized that stopping this requires real support for Ukraine — air defense missiles and weapons for defenders holding back Russian aggression.
“For diplomacy to work, constant pressure on Russia is needed. The cost of this war must become so high for them that it is no longer acceptable. I thank everyone who works with us to protect lives and bring a just peace closer”, — Zelenskyy added.
