The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is launching additional consultations with families of servicemen, brigade representatives, and the Office of the Military Ombudsman to determine a model that will be effective under current conditions and provide quality support to those who need it most.
This was reported on the MoD website.
“People are the core value of the Ukrainian army, so any changes to the social support system must primarily serve servicemen and their families. This is a complex and sensitive issue, especially for families of soldiers missing in action, and that’s why we approach it with maximum responsibility and care”, — the Ministry stated.
After consultations are completed, a unified model will be approved and further steps will be determined. All decisions and changes will be communicated separately and in advance.
The MoD invites everyone to participate in discussions on reforming the support system for servicemen missing in action and their families. Suggestions can be sent to [email protected].
