Ukraine Imposes Sanctions Against Companies Serving Russia’s Tanker Fleet
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree on the introduction of sanctions against companies that service the Russian tanker fleet and transport sanctioned oil.
He announced this on his channel on February 2.
According to him, there are also new sanctions against Kremlin propagandists and criminals involved in cyberattacks against Ukraine and its partners.
“We continue to synchronize sanctions with the European Union. We counter all attempts by the Russian regime to destabilize the situation in Ukraine”, — Volodymyr Zelensky noted.
The President recalled that last week the European Union synchronized Ukrainian sanctions against six Russian propagandists within its jurisdiction.
“Work on the 20th sanctions package of the European Union is also ongoing. We expect it to be adopted at the end of February. Even now we can see that many of our proposals have been taken into account. We thank everyone who helps!” — he summarized.
