At Independence Square, President Volodymyr Zelensky and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, visiting Ukraine, honored the memory of fallen Ukrainian soldiers.

This was reported by the Presidential Office on February 3.

The Head of State and NATO Secretary General laid candles and paid tribute to fallen defenders at the National Memory Memorial at Independence Square.

Mark Rutte also addressed the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

Reminder: on the night of February 3, Kyiv experienced another massive enemy attack prior to his visit. Falling UAV fragments caused destruction and damage in several areas of the capital.

Additionally, the enemy shelled Kharkiv for over three hours at night, targeting energy infrastructure. Russian occupation forces also launched massive drone and missile attacks on the Dnipropetrovsk region. A fire broke out in Dnipro as a result of shelling.
