In the Lyman sector, the enemy bombards defenders’ positions with glide bombs (KABs) and attacks with UAVs of various types. No major changes are observed in their infantry assault tactics.
This was reported on Army TV by Maksym Bilousov, head of communications of the 60th Separate Mechanized Inhulets Brigade.
According to him, there are no significant changes in infantry assaults. Earlier, they sometimes attempted attacks with larger groups — up to ten assault troops — but they were struck by the brigade’s mortars and artillery. The most dangerous threat now, he says, is aviation: KAB drops cause the greatest damage. Hence the primary hope is on EW units that can knock them off course so that the bombs “fall somewhere in a field”.
Another problem is short-range strike drones such as Kub, Lancet, Molniya, and Molniya-2.
“Of course, nobody has cancelled FPV drones, drop-drones, and so-called ‘waiter drones’. ‘Waiter drones’ have greatly changed the battlefield, especially by hitting our logistics. But we also use them against the Russians. They pick something of ours, and we pick theirs”, — Bilousov said.
