The 61st Mechanized Steppe Brigade reported on the “Pliushch” unmanned ground vehicle (UGV), which is capable of remotely deploying communication channels.
The corresponding video was published on the official channel of the 61st Mechanized Brigade.
Communications are the foundation of modern combat operations. Without them, no operation can be successfully executed. However, ensuring reliable communications is a complex task — one that is carried out by the modern “Pliushch” UGV.
“Pliushch” is a remotely controlled system capable of deploying communication channels or installing and maintaining electronic warfare systems at a distance.
The 61st Brigade noted that its key advantage is operating without unnecessary risk to personnel: the system moves out, deploys equipment, and ensures mission execution in areas where it is dangerous for a human to remain for long periods.
It requires only 60 seconds to deploy and 40 seconds to pack up. The drone can be controlled from anywhere in the world, and a standard gaming controller is perfectly suitable for mission execution.
