On the Pokrovsk axis, in the area of responsibility of the 46th Brigade, the enemy continues daily attacks. Taking advantage of severe weather conditions, it has intensified pressure on Defense Forces positions, increasing the number of attacks to 40–45 per week.

This was reported on Suspilne News by Serhii Kondratiuk, acting head of the communications section of the 46th Separate Podillia Airmobile Brigade.

According to him, the enemy continues to use small assault group tactics of three to four servicemen. They attack Defense Forces positions at varying intervals. If successful, they entrench, followed by a fresh group that advances further.

“Taking advantage of harsh weather conditions, the enemy tries to avoid direct combat and instead find gaps in our defense and move into our rear to locate UAV launch points as well as artillery unit positions, in order to direct their artillery and aviation accordingly”, — Kondratiuk said.

At times, the enemy uses heavy armored equipment. In January, there were two massive assaults, which were completely crushed, with a total of 80 occupiers eliminated. Paratroopers also regularly capture Russians. The latest prisoner taken by the 46th Brigade was unarmed — his commanders had sent him into the assault that way.

“They used him as a living antenna. Without a weapon, they gave him only body armor and a helmet, handed him an antenna, showed him a point on the map, and told him to sit there as a live relay for their drones and communications equipment. But he didn’t sit there for long. Our ‘Baba Yaga’ flew past, the position was destroyed. The occupier was lucky — he survived under the rubble. Our fighters found him there and took him prisoner”, — Serhii Kondratiuk said.
