Ukrainian paratroopers are using VR goggles to learn how to confidently counter the threat posed by enemy drones.
A video demonstrating such training was published on the Telegram channel of the 7th Air Assault Corps, noting that counter-drone battlefield skills are a priority among its fighters.
“Enemy UAVs are one of the main modern threats in the combat zone. That is why we train this skill every day. Movement and firing are the key rules that everyone on the front line must master”, — said the head of training of the 78th Separate Air Assault Brigade, call sign “Shtil”.
According to him, the key to success in this area is a soldier’s confidence in their comrades, their commander, and their own abilities.
“We train in a way that makes this confidence the norm”, — the serviceman explained.
