Прапори України й Норвегії
Міністр оборони України Михайло Федоров подякував Норвегії за рішення надати Україні безпекову підтримку на $7 млрд у 2026 році

Minister of Defense of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov held a conversation with the Minister of Defense of Norway, Tore Sandvik.

He reported this on January 22 via his channel.

Mykhailo Fedorov thanked Norway for the decision to provide Ukraine with $7 billion in security support in 2026 and for making the largest contribution among all partner countries in strengthening air defense through the PURL project in 2025.

“Thanks to this, Ukraine has already received missiles used to repel Russian attacks. I also thanked them for the transfer last week of critical missiles for air defense systems from their own stockpiles to protect our energy infrastructure from cruise missiles”, — he wrote.

The ministers discussed further cooperation within the PURL framework and the development of NASAMS air defense system capabilities this year, including the integration of new missiles into NASAMS as a universal platform.

“I also thanked Norway for co-financing the transfer of Patriot systems from Germany and asked for Norway’s support in the further development of Ukraine’s Patriot program”, — Mykhailo Fedorov reported.

According to him, Ukraine is already building mutually beneficial partnerships.

“Thanks to the innovative DELTA ecosystem, we receive unique battlefield data that we are ready to share with our allies. We record every enemy strike and its parameters: target, location, UAV type.

For each destroyed target, units receive points that can be exchanged for necessary equipment. We have created an innovative Amazon for war — the Brave1 Market — direct procurement from manufacturers without intermediaries and rapid delivery to the battlefield”, — the Minister of Defense of Ukraine noted.

He proposed that Norway join a large-scale project to support Ukrainian frontline units with drones of various types. In return, Ukraine could provide access to DELTA data and help Norway strengthen its own country using the experience of modern warfare.

The ministers also separately discussed artillery needs.

“I emphasized the importance of supporting the Czech initiative and supplying long-range munitions. I am grateful to the people and government of Norway for their strong, systematic, and consistent support of Ukraine”, — Mykhailo Fedorov summarized.
