The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine continues systematic improvement of mobilization processes. In January 2026, specialized advanced training courses for representatives of executive authorities began at one of the leading higher military educational institutions.

This was reported by the Ministry of Defense on January 22.

The project initiated by the Ministry aims to synchronize the work of the state and the army in matters of mobilization readiness.

The first group of specialists has already successfully completed training. It included deputy heads of regional and district military administrations, as well as heads of relevant structural units.

These officials are responsible on the ground for implementing mobilization tasks, so improving their expertise is critically important for the effectiveness of the entire system.

Planned for 2026:

  • 4 training waves;

  • training of 60 specialists from state institutions.

The training program was developed at the request of the Mobilization Department of the Ministry of Defense. The disciplines taught provide for deepening knowledge on organizing and conducting mobilization work, acquiring new skills, and improving previously acquired knowledge and abilities.

It is recalled that the creation of advanced training courses on mobilization preparation and mobilization for specialists of executive authorities was initiated by the Ministry of Defense in 2025.

The transition from one-time briefings to a full-fledged professional development system ensures a unified professional standard of mobilization training at all levels of government.
