“The wounded surrendered ‘to a drone’”: on the Oleksandrivka axis, Russians attack using ‘expendable material’

On the Oleksandrivka axis, the enemy has enough manpower to conduct assaults. However, 95% of such attacks produce no results — the assault troops are simply disposed of.

This was reported on Army TV by Major Ivan Siekach, Head of the Communications Section of the 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade.

According to him, the war has changed and become technological. On the battlefield, the primary role is played by ground robotic systems and drones. Even when evacuating the wounded, a special “sky-clearing” operation is conducted to remove enemy UAVs. Infantry now almost never leaves shelters.

“There is no longer a situation where a machine gun fires from a dugout window at an enemy running across a field. Fighters try not to come out at all, because a reconnaissance drone will immediately spot them. The guys have stopped using wood-burning stoves and trench candles. They use diesel heaters that emit little heat so they are not seen by thermal imagers. The main task now is not to let the enemy into the dugout and to hold the defense. During that time, drones arrive and destroy the enemy”, — Siekach explained.

The Russians themselves continue to attack with manpower. The assaults are cannibalistic, as even prisoners themselves say. According to Siekach, the latest captive was a junior lieutenant.

“He came out wounded, raised his hands, and surrendered to a drone. He said they have a separate company of HIV-infected and hepatitis-infected drug addicts, who are used as expendable material first and foremost. And how did you, an officer, end up in an assault? He said: my contract ended, I went to the commander to be discharged. They didn’t discharge me, and he told them to go to hell — so he was immediately sent into an assault. They don’t treat people gently there”, — Siekach noted.
